Haftamu is a full-stack developer with 9+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing applications and solutions using a range of technologies and programming languages. As a skilled developer with both front-end and back-end experience, he joined Meskot to ensure the successful running of the company’s website and social platforms.

Haftamu will lead the overall Servers/database and website programming and needed to install and configure databases and to collect learners’ data. He will also coordinate the adaption of the interface of a learning platform (LMS) and install the courseware on a Web server.

Haftamu is passionate about education and was TAing for computer science classes during college.  He helped with the development and customization of meskot.org and later was eager to continue working with an incredible team that wants to provide free, world-class mother-tongue education to everyone, everywhere in Ethiopia.

When he’s not coding, Haftamu loves hanging out and watching movies.
