Meskot Education creates curriculum-aligned digital lessons for children in Tigray and makes them accessible online and offline through USBs, DVDs, and SolarSPELL digital libraries. Our goal is to help students continue learning in communities affected by disruption, limited connectivity, and lack of supplementary learning resources.

Meskot Education is based in both in Tigray, Ethiopia and also registered in the US. However, our primary target demograohics are K-8 children in Tigray, Ethiopia.

We work with local teachers to convert approved curriculum content into video lessons. These lessons are shared online where possible and offline where internet access is limited.

Yes, Meskot Education is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. We are also registered in Ethiopia under the Organization of Civil Societies Proclamation No. 1113/2019 (Registry number 5476).
